The International Federation of Institutes for Medieval Studies is a non-profit organization founded in 1987. Its main objectives are to support and foster medieval studies in all areas of knowledge through the organization of meetings, the publication of monographs, and the promotion of a diploma aimed at young researchers. FIDEM associates, whether institutional or individual, are based throughout the world.
